Community Outreach/World Fellowship

The community outreach committee researches local causes within our community and meets as a group to decide which causes to support that best reflect our mission as a chapter. After identifying the causes our chapter will support, the community outreach committee decides how best to help the cause by means of monetary donations, supply collections, volunteering time at their venue, etc. Several of our events include making breakfast at the Ronald McDonald House, creating holiday shoeboxes with warm clothing and toiletries for Norristown Ministries, attending the feature show and providing a scholarship for one child of the Autistic Drama Program at Theatre Horizon, providing a scholarship for one girl to attend school in Ghana through Leah's Dream, Gift Wrapping at Barnes and Noble, providing monetary funds to the Laurel House, providing donations and monetary funds to Upper Merion Emergency Aid, and collecting items for our feature charity drive.
